TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking to hire an Enterprise Solution Architect with a strong Data Quality and Architect understanding.

Scope of Work:

  • Technical interpretation to implement client’s data quality and data architect policies and procedures
  • Provide consultation on the integration of data from a variety of sources, including between various security and GRC tools
  • Understand complex data flows and develop detailed data flow diagram.
  • Participate in the formulation and execution of corporate strategy to exceed revenue objectives
  • As a key member the support team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services in support of the IRS
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering TISTA services
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solutions architect community
  • Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engagement teams and support
  • Gather business requirements as necessary and apply detailed working knowledge of data architecture and integration techniques
  • Assist project team in the architecting, engineering, and implementation of difference technology and/or applications
  • Provide quality assurance and understand the overall process
  • Work with Program Manager to establish cost and time estimates for implementation.
  • Lead the creation of custom solutions based on customer needs from PWS, SOW, User Requirements, Feedback, and working sessions
  • Assist with identification of risks and development of mitigation or avoidance plans.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Strong technical and business understanding of the IRS’ Enterprise Lifecycle (ELC)
  • Strong business understanding of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) business mission, value, and stakeholders
  • Broad knowledge of a large array of Enterprise IRS tools and platforms, such as Red Hat, JBOSS, Apache, CA Identity Manager, Archer, Splunk, VMware, etc.
  • High understanding of Internal Revenue Manuals (IRMs), NIST 800 publications, and FISMA guidelines
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, Information Assurance, Virtual Desktop, etc.), products (i.e., Oracle, SAP) and frameworks (ITIL, Zachman, TOGAF, etc.)
  • Proven technical integration skills
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Read, analyze and interpret business requirements, system documentation, and technical procedures
  • Secure relevant information, integrates data from different sources, and identifies possible causes of problems
  • Sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel
  • Able to work with people of varied technical backgrounds and management levels

Required Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years working with the IRS’ ELC lifecycle
  • Minimum 5 years design/implantation/consulting performing applications, infrastructure, database, and networking architecture
  • Minimum 7 years supporting government contracting
  • Minimum 10 years in IT experience
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

Required Education:

University Degree (in a related subject Information Systems Security /Computer Science/etc.)

Master Degree (in a related subject Information Systems Security /Computer Science/etc.)
